Mr. Huen, Kwok Chuen completed the course in Japanese Studies in Tokyo in 1978, then started to work as a tour guide serving Hong Kong travelers in Japan. After repatriating to Hong Kong in 1984, he continued his career as a tour guide for Japanese travelers.
In 1987, Mr. Huen was appointed as Executive Director and the spokesman of EGL Tours, where he spearheaded business development while creating a company culture geared towards providing service excellence. "Be sincere and respectful to all customers" became the company's motto that guides employees at every consumer touch point. This unwavering commitment to consumer service became the cornerstone of EGL Tours’ success. He is responsible for overseeing development, public relations, inbound tours services, specialized gourmet tours and the Macau subsidiary. He has over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry.
Mr. Huen is highly dedicated to serving both Hong Kong and Mainland community. He served as a member of the Foshan Sanshui District Political Consultative Committee, director of Yan Oi Tong, honorary advisor of the Advisory Committee of Promoting Korea Tourism of the Korea National Tourism Organization Hong Kong Office and its executive member of the K-Tourism Council.
