Launch of Higher Diploma Programme
In addition to the Foundation Diploma, the Scheme has
rolled out a 30-month Higher Diploma Programme (HD)
in the 2015-16 cohort. This year also saw continuously
strong support from retail employers for the Scheme,
with over 1,100 job opportunities for both Foundation
Diploma and HD programmes made available by over 30
companies covering 77 brands.
Retail Lab
Incorporating the Association’s advice on industry
requirements, a state-of-the-art Retail Lab commenced
operations at the IVE (Haking Wong) campus in February
2015. Equipped with a stimulated retail shop, the Lab
enables VTC students to gain practical experience in
merchandizing displays and different retail systems
including point-of-sale, inventory control, shop security,
traffic control, customer relationship management (CRM)
and lighting.
開辦高級文憑課程
透過此項計劃，除了為學員提供基礎文憑
課程外，亦於2015/2016學年開辦了為期
30個月的高級文憑課程。本報告年內，此
計劃繼續獲零售業僱主大力支持，逾30家
公司77個品牌為基礎文憑課程及高級文憑
課程提供逾1,100個職位空缺。
零售體驗廊
設於黃克競香港專業教育學院的「零售體
驗廊」於2015年2月正式開幕啟用。「零
售體驗廊」配備先進的教學設施，結合了
協會在行業規定方面提出的意見，故其設
施能模擬零售店舖的真實環境，讓職訓局
學生能獲得商品陳列視覺管理的實習經
驗，掌握銷售點、庫存控制、店舖保安、
人流控制、顧客關係管理及照明等不同的
零售系統。
