It is my great pleasure to congratulate the Hong Kong
Retail Management Association on another fruitful year.
Over the years, the retail industry has been a key pillar
of Hong Kong tourism. Though both industries are
facing a challenging environment, caused by a number
of external factors, it is important that we stay united
and work hand in hand. We at the Hong Kong Tourism
Board are particularly thankful for the Association’s
support in our spending-stimulation campaigns and
other promotions, which have allowed visitors to enjoy
an extraordinary shopping experience in the city.
The Association’s dedication to promoting excellence
among industry players has long been recognised, and
I look forward to working even more closely with you
to enhance Hong Kong’s reputation as a shopper’s
paradise.
