shop around with easily accessible product information. A retailer is therefore doomed to fail if it is unable to understand
consumers’ preferences or enhance their shopping experience.

On 19 June, 2015 the Association convened a business matching activity entitled “Retail Wisdom”. Through a series of
four seminars with concurrent retail solutions showcase, retailers could access a variety of support solutions ranging from
management to marketing. There were also displays on solutions relating to marketing, product displays and designs, logistics/
e-commerce, retail technology, as well as product testing, inspection and certification service. The event has provided retailers
an effective business matching platform, and kept them abreast of the latest market trends.

Mr. Lawrence Li, Business Development Director of Sino Dynamic Solutions Limited, analyzed upcoming trends in consumer
spending. He said that in the wake of rapidly developing wireless Internet, mobile devices are getting more and more powerful
at a shrinking cost; and that it is unlikely that consumers would give up their mobile devices and go back to their previous
spending patterns. It is necessary that retailers make good use of this low-cost yet powerful technology to update themselves
with the latest trends in consumer preferences, to enhance shopping experience, and to explore business opportunities.
