To Grasp Immense Opportunities by Driving Forward Omni-Channel Retailing

抓緊龐大商機
Mr. Thomson Cheng, Chairman of the Association, gave his welcome speech. He noted that
retailers have made corresponding adjustments to their operating strategies to overcome the two-
year-long market adjustment; and that their strategies have started yielding results. Despite the
local market being fraught with challenges, the Association is fully confident about the prospects
of the local retail market. It will continue to promote the industry’s long-term development. Its
main tasks include assisting local retailers in keeping abreast of the global trend of e-commerce
development, and grasping the immense opportunities arising from omni-channel retailing.
協會主席鄭偉雄先生致歡迎辭時表示，零售商經歷了兩年多的調整期，在經營策略上已作出相應調整，
並且初見成效。縱使市道仍充滿挑戰，協會對香港零售業的前景充滿信心，協會亦會繼續致力推動業屆長遠發展，重點包括幫助本地
零售商緊貼環球電子商貿發展的大趨勢，抓緊全渠道零售的龐大商機。
Retailers in recent years have been moving
forward by transforming their omni-
channel retailing to keep pace with fast-
evolving technology. Entering into its ninth
year, Retail Conference 2017 was held at
the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition
Centre on 9 May. Six industry leaders
were invited to deliver keynote speeches
on the theme of ”Rejuvenation of Retail –
Challenges and Solutions”, and to share
their insights on the latest development
trends of Hong Kong’s retail market.
