Chairman's Report
主席報告
第五期計劃亦已於2015年9月展開，旨在
透過介紹最新的顧客體驗方案和標準服務
流程，協助中小企零售商在營運上可精益
求精。
會員服務方面，我們於過去一年推出多項新
會員福利，並舉辦了16場不同的商貿配對和
交流活動，讓會員及企業能透過有效的平台
加強溝通，開拓商機。活動反應踴躍，共有
來自325間企業，超過660位參加者參與。
我們不斷完善協會的服務和會員福利，亦
提供更多拓展人脈商機和培訓的機會，成
功吸納更多新會員。今年會員數目增加
12.8% 至670 個，涵蓋全港約8,000間商
舖，創歷年新高。
會員可參閱本報告附錄，一覽協會於年內舉
辦的主要活動。
協會能成就豐碩的一年，全賴各位會員齊心
協力，我謹此致以衷心感謝。
首先，感謝立法會批發及零售界功能組別
議員方剛先生，代表協會及零售業在議會
發聲。
我亦衷心感謝董事會成員、三位副主席鄭偉
雄先生、葉焯德先生和倪文玲女士、會員事
務及籌款委員會主席陸楷先生，以及執委會
成員的支持及寶貴意見。
另外，特別感謝執行總監余麗姚女士及其同
事努力不懈，推動協會穩步向前。
周年大會完結後，我便會卸任主席一職，
但會繼續擔任執委會成員，盡力為協會貢
獻所長。
我謹此祝願新一任主席工作順遂，協會繼續
蓬勃發展。

The 5

Programme was kick-started in September 2015
and targets to help SME retailers to improve their business
by introducing the latest customer engagement tools and
standardised service procedures.
On membership services, during the reporting year, we
have been excited to roll out a myriad of new member
benefits, as well as 16 different business matching
and networking activities, which proved to be effective
platforms for our members and prospects to communicate
and explore business opportunities together. We are
pleased that these activities were well-received, with over
660 participants in total, coming from 325 companies.
With enhanced services and privileges, as well as
expanded networking and training opportunities, our
membership number grew by 12.8% and reached a
record high of 670, representing about 8,000 outlets in
Hong Kong. Members may refer to a list of major activities
of the Association held during the reporting period in the
appendix of this report.
We have accomplished a lot this year. All of this could
not have been done without the concerted effort of all
members, and I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to
you all. I would also like to thank Mr. Vincent Fang for
representing the industry at the Legislative Council and
supporting our Association all along.
In particular, I would like to express my great gratitude
to the Board of Directors, my fellow Ex-Co members,
especially Vice-Chairman Mr. Thomson Cheng, Mr. Henry
Yip and Ms. Malina Ngai, and Mr. Guy Look, Chairman of
the Membership and Fundraising Sub-Committee, who
have given me unfailing support at all times.
My special thanks also go to our Executive Director, Ms.
Ruth Yu and her dedicated team at the Executive Office,
who have been working so hard to make things happen.
After this AGM, I will step down as Chairman. However,
I will remain as a member of the Ex-Co and continue to
serve the Association in whatever way I can.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish my very best
to the next Chairman and the Association for another
successful year ahead.
