We also upgraded membership benefits and enhanced
fund-raising activities this year, including a venue rental
service which was introduced after the expansion of
the Executive Office in late 2014. We also rolled out a
monthly e-Newsletter and revamped our online advertising
platform to offer members promotion opportunities at
discount rates. Other membership benefits included free
listing of business opportunities and company information
at our webpage, and discounts on hotel bookings.
The Annual Ball is a signature event of the Association,
which aims to raise funds for our year-round education
programmes. Attended by over 1,500 members and
guests, the Annual Ball held on 9 December, 2014, was
graced by Mr. Gregory So, Secretary for Commerce and
Economic Development. We celebrated the achievements
and presented the retail awards under our flagship
programmes to outstanding retailers.
報告年內，協會致力為會員謀福祉，除
了增加會員福利外，更積極推行多項嶄
新服務，包括場地租借服務。這是繼協
會於2014年年底擴充辦事處後推出的服
務。協會亦刊發每月電子通訊，更新協
會的網上宣傳平台，讓會員以優惠價獲
得宣傳機會。其他會員福利包括免費於
協會網站刊登商機及公司資料，以及酒
店預訂折扣優惠。
周年晚會是協會一年一度的大型盛事，旨
在為協會全年的教育計劃籌款。協會於
2014年12月9日舉行的周年晚會，出席的
會員及嘉賓數目超過1,500人。商務及經濟
發展局局長蘇錦樑先生的蒞臨更令周年晚
會增色不少。除了慶祝協會於年內取得的
成就外，協會亦籍此盛會向表現卓越的零
售商頒發協會旗艦活動的零售獎項，以示
嘉許。
