“The Education & Training Sub-Committee oversees the development of retail education
and training. Our mission is to enhance the status and professionalism of the retail
industry. This year, the Sub-Committee has continued its efforts to deliver quality
training programmes and introduced new elements to the Association’s awards.”
「教育及培訓委員會負責監察零售服務教育及培訓的發展。協會的使命是提
高零售業的地位及專業水平。今年,委員會繼續致力提供優質的培訓計劃,
並為協會的獎項引入新元素。」
Earn & Learn Pilot Scheme for Retail Industry
The Association has since 2014 been working with the
Commerce & Economic Development Bureau and Vocational
Training Council (VTC) to jointly run the Earn & Learn Pilot
Scheme for Retail Industry. The Scheme has offered learning
and work opportunities for more than 540 successful youngsters
over three academic years.
This year also marked the first graduation ceremony of the
Scheme. At the grand ceremony held on 14 April 2016,
all 160-plus aspiring graduates
were conferred with diplomas
in Foundation Studies (Retail).
These retail talents successfully
accomplished the Scheme goals
following 18-month of hard work and
devotion.
At the ceremony, a host of guests,
parents, tutors and employers
showed their support to the program,
and shared among themselves their
exciting moments, while giving warm
congratulations to the graduates.
零售業「職」學創前路先導計劃
協會自2014年起與商務及經濟發展局及職業
訓練局攜手合作,合辦「零售業『職』學創前
路先導計劃」。此計劃在三個學年間,已為逾
540名年輕有為的學員提供學習及工作機會。
此計劃的首屆畢業禮亦於2016年4月14日盛
大舉行。160多位應屆畢業生經過18個月努
力及專心致志地工作後,
已成功完成計劃,並獲頒
發「基礎課程文憑(零
售)」,在零售業一展抱
負。
一眾嘉賓、畢業生家長、
導師及僱主出席畢業禮,
以示支持。他們除了熱切
祝賀畢業生外,亦分享了
他們種種精采難忘時刻。
Grooming Future Retail Talents
培育未來的零售專才
The Association has been promoting the Qualifications
Framework (QF) initiative for the retail industry since 2012.
The year saw a remarkable progress in two major components
under the retail QF, namely the Recognition of Prior Learning
(RPL) and the Specification of Competency Standards (SCS).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the
Retail Industry
The Association has been promoting among its member
companies the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the
Retail Industry since its launch in 2014. The RPL serves as
a measure to recognize a practitioner’s work experience and
competency acquired from the workplace. This initiative is
most relevant to retail practitioners, as they earn substantial
practical experience from work, irrespective of whether they
possess high academic attainment.
Thanks to the Association’s dedicated efforts, over 1,500 RPL
applications were received during the year, covering more than
2,100 clusters with a majority in customer service and store
management.
Specification of Competency Standards
(SCS) on e-Commerce
The year also saw significant progress in the drafting of
retail-related Specification of Competency Standards (SCS).
Upon members’ invaluable inputs, the first set of SCS on
e-Commerce was completed and would be put forward for
public consultation by the end of 2016, comprising about 210
Units of Competency (UoCs) on four functional areas.
In the year, we also partnered with the Hong Kong
Qualifications Framework Secretariat and the ICAC to enhance
industry awareness on corruption pitfalls, and advise retailers
on how to mitigate the risks. Training packages marked with
content on corruption prevention and integrity management
extracted from the SCS for the industry are now publicly
available. In addition, a seminar was arranged for human
resources and training practitioners to raise their awareness
and understanding in the application of the resources.
協會自2012年起一直積極推廣零售業資歷架
構。本年度,零售業資歷架構下兩個主要部分
─「過往資歷認可」及《能力標準說明》均取
得顯著進展。
零售業過往資歷認可
自2014年推出「過往資歷認可」以來,協會一
直積極向其公司會員推廣。「過往資歷認可」機
制是認可從業員在職場上所積累的工作經驗和能
力的一個機制。不管從業員擁有高學歷與否,零
售從業員均可參加。對於已獲得豐富行業經驗但
學歷不高的從業員來說,「過往資歷認可」機制
尤其有用。
在協會努力下,於本年度已接獲超過1,500份
「過往資歷認可」的申請,涵蓋超過2,100個能
力單元組合。在這些申請中,顧客服務及店舖管
理佔多數。
電子商貿《能力標準說明》
本年度,協會在協助撰寫與零售相關的《能力標
準說明》方面亦取得重大的進展。有賴會員寶貴
的意見回饋,首份電子商貿《能力標準說明》已
告完成,並將於2016年年底前供公眾諮詢。電
子商貿《能力標準說明》包含了約210個「能力
單元」,分佈於四個主要職能範疇之中。
協會亦於本年度聯同香港資歷架構秘書處及香港
廉政公署,致力提高業界對貪污陷阱的意識,並
建議零售商如何減低觸犯法例的風險。《能力標
準說明》內有關預防貪污及誠信管理的教材內
容,現可供取閱。此外,協會亦為人力資源及培
訓人員舉辦了講座,讓他們更深入瞭解如何應用
資源,並提高他們在這方面的意識。
