Since 2009, our annual Retail Conference has been developed
into a key platform for sharing experiences in the industry. This
year, about 700 guests interacted with eight business leaders
through this well-established platform.
Session I: Driving Growth in the World of
Omni-Channel Retailing
We explore from different perspectives the ways that Hong Kong
retail industry develops omni-channel, and broadens business
opportunities in online shopping.
Session II: Retail Rejuvenation: Great Leap
Forward Despite Downturns
We share our experience in business growth against adversity,
bringing into full play the flexibility and resilience of retail industry,
and make significant progress despite downturns.
自2009年發展至今,協會每年一度的「零售
研討會」已成為業界分享經驗的重要平台。本
年度,約700位嘉賓透過「零售研討會」這個
完善的平台,與八位商界領袖交流切磋。

“Undeterred by strong headwinds in retail industry during the year, the Membership
& Fund-Raising Sub-Committee has strengthened its membership benefits
and engagement. In particular, it undertook initiatives to steadfastly drive retail
technology adoption through business matching activities.”
「儘管零售業年內面對強勁的阻力,但會員事務及籌款委員會不但不受
影響,更加強了會員的福利及參與度。值得一提的是,委員會已舉辦多
個商貿配對活動,務求大大促進零售科技的應用。」
Thanks to the Sub-Committee’s dedication despite a slowing
trend in retail industry, the Association’s membership reached a
new record high of 695, showing a 3% year-on-year growth.
Our 560 corporate members represented a wide range of retail
businesses covering more than 7,800 outlets and hiring more
than half of the territory’s retail workforce. The Association’s
membership base was comprised of a good mix of SMEs and
chain stores, operating with both local and international brands.
儘管零售業放緩,但有賴委員會全體人員盡心
協力,協會會員數目再創新高,達695名,較
去年增長3%。
協會560個公司會員代表著本港多個零售業
務,合共逾7,800間店舖,員工總數更佔香港
零售從業員總數逾半。協會會員涵蓋了經營本
地及國際品牌的中小企及連鎖店。
