It is important that we always keep our members up-to-date
on the progress of regulations. For example, about the Waste
Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Municipal Solid
Waste Charging (MSW), we arranged meetings between our
members and the Environmental Protection Department, so
that the industry’s views could be timely conveyed across, and
be considered by the Government before its implementation.
These activities have proven to be effective in influencing the
Government to take a more balanced view and approach.
In the reporting year, the Association reflected views on the

協會在法例的諮詢及立法過程中，與會員保持
緊密溝通及提供最新情況。就以《廢電器電子
產品》計劃及《都市固體廢物收費落實安排》
為例，協會安排會員與環境保護署代表會面，
及時傳達業界對法例執行的細節，敦請政府在
實施前慎重考慮業界的意見，促進政府在處理
相關事務時有更持平的觀點及策略。
