Creating Business Opportunities for
Members
It has always been held high on our agenda
to generate more business-to-business (B2B)
and business-to-customer (B2C) opportunities
for the industry. Through a myriad of business
matching and networking activities, the
Association has strengthened robust connections
among retailers, e-tailers and service providers,
while they explored business opportunities for
cross-sector cooperation. During the year, our
business matching events jointly organized with
retail-related technology industry associations
including Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry
Association, Hong Kong Productivity Council and
Hong Kong Science Park were very well received
by over 200 retailers, among which 40% are
SMEs.
Expediting E-Commerce Ecosystem
Development
The Association has tied up with international
key e-players such as Alibaba Group, Facebook,
Google, JD.COM, Baidu and WeChat Pay, and
local operators like Boutir to give talks in seminars
and workshops on digital commerce ecosystem
and operational strategies. These activities were
met with overwhelming responses with high
participation by some 2,000 participants from
540 companies, of which close to 70% were
SME retailers. The success was highlighted
by our “TaoBao University E-Commerce CEO
Training” held in Hong Kong and Hangzhou twice,
which drew more than 50 senior executives to
participate.

藉著多元化的商務配對及交流活動,協會為業界締造更多企
業對企業(B2B)及企業對客戶(B2C)的商機,幫助零售商、
電子零售商及服務商廣拓人脈網絡,並加強他們之間的緊密
聯繫,同時物色跨界別合作的機遇。於本年度,協會與多個
零售科技應用機構,包括香港零售科技商會、香港生產力促
進局及香港科學園等合作舉辦商務配對活動,深受業界歡
迎,超過200位零售商參加,當中接近40%為中小企。
促進電子商務生態發展
協會聯同阿里巴巴集團、Facebook、Google、京東、百
度及微信支付等國際主要電商,以及Boutir掌舖等本地經營
商,為會員提供專享優惠、研討會及工作坊,加強會員對網
上電子商貿生態以至營運策略的知識。這些活動廣受業界
歡迎,共有540家公司派出2,000名代表積極參與,當中約
70%為中小企。協會亦舉辦了兩場「淘寶大學企業電商總裁
班」,分別在香港及杭州上課,吸引了50多位高級管理人員
參與,足證活動的吸引力。
