為此，協會及會員多年來與政府及職業訓練
局努力不懈，攜手合辦「零售業『職』學創
前路先導計劃」，並大力推廣，促使計劃更
臻完善。儘管招生日益困難，但協會深信，
這個計劃是培育新一代零售從業員的有效及
重要平台。協會將與參加這個計劃的機構及
人士繼續保持緊密聯繫，使計劃獲得更大成
果。
香港現正經歷科技發達及經濟轉型的世代，
協會希望政府透過正規教育及在職培訓平
台，加快電子商貿人才的培育。協會樂見資
歷架構秘書處於2017年3月推出零售業電子
商貿《能力標準說明》，為零售業的人才發
展奠定良好根基。協會敦請政府加強向所有
持份者推廣電子商貿《能力標準說明》，使
成為業界人才培訓的藍本。
我在此感謝各會員一直支持協會的工作，尤
其是於年內積極參與協會推行各項人才發展
計劃。期待在來年與大家再接再厲，共創佳
績。
To this end, the Association and its member employers have
been working diligently with the Government and the VTC to
further improve and sustain the Retail Earn and Learn Scheme
in the past years. Despite the increasing difficulties in student
recruitment, we firmly believe that this Scheme is a valuable
endeavour and an effective platform for nurturing a new generation
of retail practitioners. We look forward to continuing our strong
rapport with all parties involved in this Scheme and to making it
successful.
With the economy evolving rapidly in the face of technological
transformation, we would like to see the Government speed
up e-commerce education and training through both formal
education and other in-service training platforms. To this end,
we were very pleased to see the launch of a set of e-Commerce
Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) under the retail
Qualifications Framework in March 2017. We foresee this serving
as a sound basis for manpower development in this new retail era,
and we urge the Government to strengthen its promotion to all
stakeholders.
I should like to take this opportunity of thanking members for their
commitment to the Association’s work, especially in regard to our
various initiatives in manpower development throughout the year.
I look forward to working with you in the year ahead to achieve
greater success.
