Debuting the Quality E-Shop
Recognition Scheme
During the year, the Association debuted the
Quality E-Shop Recognition Scheme, which
has put in place highly recognized industry
standards and the best practices for online
retailing. Through this innovative initiative, we
also offered excellent support to our members
for building a secured and user-friendly online
sales platform, enhancing their brand image,
boosting customers’ confidence and expanding
our members’ horizon while they ventured into
the global market.
Signature Events for Industry-wide
Networking
At our Annual Dinner and Retail Awards
Presentation Ceremony on 6 December 2016,
more than 1,200 guests including senior
management and frontline staff of the retail
industry, service providers and stakeholders
jointly celebrated such a momentous event of the
year.
Also, more than 210 retail leaders attended our
34th Annual General Meeting and Luncheon
on 13 October 2017. We were very honored to
have Mr. Edward Yau, GBS, JP, Secretary for
Commerce and Economic Development, HKSAR
as our guest speaker. Mr. Yau shared his valuable
insights on the Government's initiatives to create
opportunities for the retail industry.
推出「優質網店認證計劃」
協會開創先河，於今年推出「優質網店認證計劃」，為業界
奠定網上零售最佳營商手法及標準。此認證計劃有助會員建
立安全兼便捷的網上銷售平台，提升品牌形象，加強客戶信
心，擴闊銷售網絡及打入環球市場。
協會重點活動 廣拓業者人脈
協會於2016年12月6日舉行的周年晚會暨頒獎典禮上，獲
1,200多名零售業界的高級管理及前線人員、服務商及各持份
者出席，一同慶賀這項年度盛事。
此外，協會於2017年10月13日舉辦的周年大會暨午餐交流研
討會，獲超過210名零售業界領袖出席。當日榮幸邀請了商務
及經濟發展局局長邱騰華先生擔任主講嘉賓，分享政府的相
關政策對零售業帶來的商機。
